From 2017, the Jeonju International Film Festival (Jeonju IFF) has charged fees on badges in order to provide unparalleled service to the visitors and build a fair and impartial cultural environment by following the Improper Solicitation and Graft act. The early registration for the accreditation (badge) will begin on March 11th.

The Jeonju IFF provides three types of badges; Guest Badge, Jeonju Project Market (JPM) Badge and the Press Badge. Applicants can apply via the 20th Jeonju IFF official accreditation website (http://badge.jeonjufest.kr/en). Applicants who have applied during the early registration period can also receive badge discounts.

The first registration for the Guest and JPM badges will open from March 11th until the 31st and the second registration will open from April 1st until the 14th. The pre-registration for the Press Badge will open from March 11th until April 14th. If applicants have missed the early registration period, on-site registration will be available during the festival.

The Jeonju IFF grants the Guest, JPM, and Press badge holders to book 4 free tickets per day. Badge holders also have access to the Wait Line Service, which provides admission on a first-come, first-served basis if there are available seats 10 minutes after the screening, within sold-out films. Moreover, badge holders also have free access to the “P&I Screening”, a special screening exclusive for the press, guest and film industry professionals. Badge holders are also entitled to use the Guest Center, Guest Cafe, and the Video Library. This year, the Jeonju IFF also provides 1 ticket for a Jeonju Dome screening for badge holders to experience films at the Jeonju IFF landmark.

Furthermore, badge holders also receive a 10 percent souvenir discount and can book free tickets for the Master Class, Cinematology Class, Frontline Class, and the Cinema Class.

Applicants should apply via the 20th Jeonju IFF official accreditation website and complete all the procedures and submit all the required documents to receive the Jeonju IFF approval. Future badge holders are required to pay the registration fee at the Guest Center during the festival period.

For detailed information, check out the 20th Jeonju IFF official accreditation website or contact the Badge Coordinator at the Management Team. ( (+82) 063-280-7933, badge@jeonjufest.kr/)
