Jeonju International Film Festival’s (Jeonju IFF) 3rd JCP: NEXT EDITION will be accepting applications until January 31st, 2020.

Jeonju IFF (Festival Director LEE Joondong) announced that the festival will hold a pitching program to select international projects for the 2021 Jeonju Cinema Project.

JCP: NEXT EDITION was launched in 2018 to commemorate the 10th anniversary of Jeonju Project Market. With original projects full of potential, The program strives to expand its international presence and recognition, and it’s attracting much attention from the film industry around the world, including domestic and foreign guests and prominent directors.

In order to be eligible for JCP: NEXT EDITION, the project must be a feature film or a documentary that’s at least 60 minutes long. The director(s) or the producer(s) must have at least one or more feature-length projects under their filmography.

The submitted projects will go through the pre-selection process where the application documents will be reviewed. Those selected at this stage will have the chance to present their pitches during Jeonju Project Market. For pre-selected projects, at least one representative should be present for the pitching held during Jeonju Project Market. (Jeonju IFF covers a round-trip flight ticket, accommodation and accreditation for 1 participant per 1 project for attending the pitch).

One final project will be selected and awarded a maximum of 100 million KRW(approximately 86,000 USD) for their production, and world premiered at the 22nd Jeonju IFF in 2021.
