Shamanism that has lived through various changes in the 5000 year old history of this land is still viewed with negative perspectives that define it as superstitious. Indeed the way mudangs (shamans) act in their possessed state often looks like a behavior of madness. Yet they are forced to accept their destiny of living across the reality and the spiritual world and healing troubled souls and giving answers for peaceful life.
