Reza MIRKARIMI

Born in 1967 in Tehran. He made two TV sports documentaries, [#i_]From Football To Football [_i#]and [#i_]The Champions Of Wrestling[_i#]. His first feature, [#i_]The Child and The Soldier [_i#]won several national and international awards. In 2000 he directed [#i_]Under the Moonlight[_i#], dealing with social and religious issues, attracting the attention of international reviewers and winning the Critics’ Week Grand Prize at the Cannes Film Festival.
