Review

In 1931, following the success of Battleship Potemkin, Sergei Eisenstein travels to the city of Guanajuato, Mexico, to shoot a new film. Rejected by Hollywood, Eisenstein falls under Mexico´s spell.

DIRECTOR
Peter GREENWAY 
Born in 1942 in Wales and educated in London. He has directed films since 1966, but also has produced paintings, written novels and playscripts, held several one-man shows and curated exhibitions. He has been nominated for the Film Festival Competitions of Cannes, Venice and Berlin. First feature film, [#i_]The Draughtsman’s Contract[_i#](1982) brought him an international reputation which was consolidated by the works afterwards.
