Leena KILPELAINEN

Born in 1959 in Finland. She studied and graduated from VGIK, the All-Russian State University of Cinematography in Moscow. She grew up bilingually and speaks fluent Russian. She has been a director, cinematographer and screenplay writer. Most of her works are done in Russia. She is member of the Finnish Documentary Guild, and was president of the guild 2009 - 2010.
