Min-koo, who lives with his old mother, is an instructor at a university. His girlfriend breaks up with him because he is poor, and his lecture is replaced with his junior’s. Hee-jung, whose parents died when she was young, is busy taking care of her younger siblings. Her brother steals her passbook and disappears, and Hee-jung gets fired because of her low accomplishments.
