Lirio Ferreira co-directed [#i_]Baile Perfumado[_i#](1996). [#i_]Arido Movie[_i#](2005), his second feature film, was S\\ed for the Venice Film Festival and CINE PE, where it won six awards, including Best Picture and Director. In 2007, he launched the biopic Cartola, co-directed by Hilton Lacerda, on the homonymous Rio samba legend. [#i_]The Man Who Bottled Clouds[_i#](2009) won Best Documentary by the Brazilian Film Academy.
