Prasanna Vithanage

Born in 1962. He became involved in the theatre ever since he left school. He translated and directed Bernard shaw’s Arms and the Man and Dario Fo’s Strawberries and Trumpets. Sisila Gini Gani (1992) was his first feature film. This film won nine OCIC Awards, including Best Director, Best Actress and Best Actor. Dark Night of the Soul is his second feature.
