PORUMBOIU became known in 2006 for his first feature, [#i_]12:08 East Of Bucharest[_i#](2006), which won the Camera d’Or award at the Cannes Film Festival where it was shown in Directors’ Fortnight. [#i_]Police, Adjective[_i#](2009) was screened in Un Certain Regard at Cannes Film Festival. He also directed [#i_]When Evening Falls on Bucharest or Metabolism[_i#](2013) and [#i_]The Second Game[_i#](2014).
