The night streets of Argentina through the eyes of a young taxi driver. With tango tunes accompanied by bandoneon, the driver narrates the poems of Jorge Luis Borges, Charles Baudelaire, and Bertolt Brecht against the backdrop\ of various images like a sensuous music video.

Born in 1939, Buenos Aires, Argentina. He works as a filmmaker and writer. His novels, short stories and essays have been translated into numerous languages. His first book, Urban voodoo, was unanimously praised. Among his most famous films are Sunset Boulevards (1992), Citizen Langlois (1995), Rothschild’s Violin (1996), and Tango Desire (2002).
