Forma is a psycho-thriller about the shadow staking out in a friendship. One day, Ayako is reunited with her former classmate Yukari. An office manager, Ayako offers Yukari, who has a menial job on a construction site, to find her a job in the office where she works. But Ayako´s kindness masks a darker agenda as she quickly adopts a bullying tone towards her new co-worker, spreading poisonous gossip about Yukari and taking an intrusive interest in her fiance.

A suspenseful drama about a tragedy caused by a cycle of hatred, completed with elaborate storytelling that exposes unhealed wounds, Forma is as maddening as it is compelling.

However, what lies behind the ostensible friendship casts only a dim shadow of deep-rooted hatred. Teasingly, Sakamoto remain guarded and cryptic, it ends without ever fully explaining the back-story to the festering resentment and malice of the previous two and a half hours.
