Pictures, as traces of past and events coming back due to historical oblivion have in common in terms of ghostlikeness. This is an essay that visualizes and contemplates the ghostlikeness of picture and event. Paik still collects and researches private and public footages and puts them together as montage. Here, interestingly, he empties himself so that every memory and event can resonate each other. Sometimes subtle noises reveal physical existence of here and now.
