He started his career with the film production team at FILMZ. After leaving the company, he wrote short and feature scripts and directed a number of short films. His short, [#i_]Wild Flowers[_i#](2009), was in competition at the Con-Can ISFF and the Busan ISFF. His feature film, [#i_]PRESS[_i#](2016), was invited to the Jeonju International Film Festival, the Festival du film coreen a Paris, and the Muju Film Festival, among others.
