Review

Snow covered mountains in Japan. Every night, a fisherman makes his way to the market in town. His 6 year old son is awoken by his departure. The boy draws a picture then slips into his satchel.

Born in Japan, 1983. His first feature film, [#i_]Voice of Rain That Comes at Night[_i#](2008), received the Critic’s Award at CINDI. His second feature film,[#i_] Hold Your Breath Like a Lover[_i#](2014) was S\\ed in competition at Locarno FF in 2014.

Damien MANIVEL

Born in Brest, France, in 1981. After working as a dancer, Damien Manivel directed several remarked short films including The Lady with the Dog (2010), which won the Jean Vigo Prize.
