The story takes place at a hotel located in a small town. Count makes a robbery plan with others, and Anna gets attracted to W, but W rejects Anna’s temptation. Frustrated by her failure, Anna leaves for a different city to find a job. After making money by robbing, Count visits Anna to ask her to recover their relationship, but Anna rejects his suggestion. Count’s last choice is pointing a gun at her. This work confirms Roy Andersson’s cool-hearted style showing catastrophe of a relationship caused by a breach of desire. [LEE Sang-yong]
