Tennis, which is recognized as the most intelligent sport among modern sports, challenges the eyes of the referee (human), and has introduced numerous camera image comparisons and computer program reading devices for more accurate and fair results. The film recalls the days when photography was used as evidence in past horse racing games and looks at the process of introducing and using the current instant replay program “Hawk-Eye” in professional tennis games. It asks questions whether technology really contributes to the right judgment and how technology that seems to present the truth interprets the truth. It is a film that proves that familiar footages seen on sports channels can feel completely new according to specific context. [Sung MOON]
