Ramin Bahrani

He studied film theory at Columbia University. In 1998, he left America for the first time and stayed in Iran for three years, where he made his first feature film Strangers. His second feature Man Push Cart (2005) won Special Mention at JIFF 2006. Goodbye Solo(2008) has won FIPRESCI Prize at 2008 Venice Film Festival.
