Vimukthi Jayasundara studied in France at Le Fresnoy Art School. His directorial debut, The Forsaken Land (2005) was officially S\\ed at Cannes Film Festival in 2005 (Un certain regard), and got the Camera D’Or. His second feature Between Two Worlds was invited at Venice Film Festival.
