During the reign of King SeongJong in the Joseon Dynasty, Eoudong, a daughter from an aristocratic family, is banished for making love with a man of lower standing. After she becomes a Kisaeng(geisha), her parents, fearing their damaged reputation, send an assassin to kill her. Eoudong defies the oppressive institutions and regulations of a patriarchal society using only her own sex appeal.
