Coming home after a year, Jungi goes on an amorous date with his wife, Misuk. The film instantly permeates us with the way they look at each other alternately and the way they hold onto each other’s arms even when they get snippy. Perhaps that’s why our hearts ache at the bug-full poem that Jungi wrote thinking of Misuk, even just at the form of its characters. It is as if the pixie dust is fluttering in the air that surrounds them. As we hesitate between feeling sad about their ending or happy for stepping forward to reality, the film gives us both simultaneously. The tickle from the mixture of both sentiments lingers on as long as the bugs in the heart. [LEE Jae-eun]
