The story begins somewhere in Tacloban in the central Philippines, which had been devastated after Typhoon Haiyan swept through in 2013, leaving over 7,300 dead and missing in its wake. Miguel wakes up in the chaos amidst corpses. While wandering the ruined streets, he meets his mother, Norma and his girlfriend, Andrea. As rumors circulate about another powerful typhoon approaching, Miguel heads to the port to catch a rescue boat to Manila. However, Andrea and Norma leave Miguel for their own reasons, and Miguel heads to the rescue boat like someone who has lost his mind. Carlo Francisco Manatad had planned to shoot this film since 2014, right after Typhoon Haiyan struck the Philippines. After years of planning and development, Manatad shot this film in more than six locations with hundreds of extras. This very special disaster film is his feature debut. [PARK Jin-hee]
