Last year, JEONJU IFF asked the question, “What will be of cinema?” through a book, and it seems that a similar question has popped up among renowned filmmakers, who began this film project. The Year of the Everlasting Storm is an omnibus film featuring the works of renowned filmmakers Jafar Panahi, Anthony Chen, Laura Poitras, Malik Vitthal, Dominga Sotomayor, David Lowery, and Apichatpong Weerasethakul. In the videos made by artists who could not stop working on films even in the era of waiting, as the world remains paused, the audience can see the various sides of the challenge that emerged from the limits of creativity.
