In a quiet seaside village, Fumi works in a small textile mill, attends anonymous alcoholics meetings, and is friendly with neighboring boy Kohei. One night, on her way home, Fumi gets into an accident when a small meteorite falls into her car, but she believes the odds of that happening are one in a billion, which is a good sign.
