Seongmisan Village in Mapo-gu, Seoul is well known for its community activities. The village operates “Acorn After School” and the documentary is about the teachers and caregivers working there. Five teachers take care of around 60 children and they are heavily impacted by the COVID-19 pandemic. While the schools are closed and the children can’t go to school, Acorn After School’s capacity is limited and the teachers are undermined. What is even worse is that the teachers are not accepted as regular teachers outside this school even though they work more than 10 years.
