It’s not uncommon for parents and children to have different ideas, but here’s an extreme example. The father, Andrzej Rodan, is a writer who has written books denying the existence of God, revealing the sins committed in the name of religion, and documenting the stupid mistakes that religion has made in Poland. But his son Pawel is a devout Catholic who loves to listen to and sing along to rap praising God and praying all the time. The problem with this father and son, Andrzej considers his son Pawel to be his only mistake, and Pawel wants to lead his father to God at all costs. When his father suffers from a heart disease, Pawel decides to embark on a journey to visit holy places across Poland and meet people who have experienced miracles from God in order to convince his father to be religious. In contrast to the affectionate father-son documented in the home videos of his childhood, the two begin a journey sometimes shouting and fighting like a war, sometimes not saying even a word.
