Clay shooter Taehwa, who suffers from a unique disease called idiopathic pulmonary fibrosis, needs a lung transplant from his father to survive. However, the father, who abandoned the victim's body after causing a car accident right before the operation, passed away during Taehwa's lung transplant operation. LOST depicts the story of Taehwa, who survives and searches for Miji, the victim's family, while suffering from the responsibility for the sin committed by his father. Although the story of excessive coincidences and the characters' extreme emotions may feel disturbing, director KANG Dongin skillfully unravels the complicated drama of crime and punishment through the parallel composition of the two characters, Taehwa and Miji. In addition, LOST is a film that shows the desire to free the hands and feet of young people who cannot escape from the hardships left by the previous generation. As in Goodtime, screened at the Korean Short Competition at the 21st JEONJU IFF, the director's ability to capture the inner side of a character in a thriller-style visual is also evident. Lee Soohyuk and Ha Younkyoung play Taehwa and Miji. (MOON Seok)
