Review

EVENTIDE is a single-take film that records the Perseid meteor shower down at eventide on the island of Gotland, Sweden, in the Baltic Sea. By setting the scene like a theatrical production, the film documents the flow of time and captures the ever-changing weather. It is a perfect example of a movie that uses the three fundamental elements of cinema: image, time, and sound. (Sung MOON)
