An Yuri's work has consistently explored themes of womanhood, war, human rights, and displacement. In her latest project, she brings to life the stories of two women who became double agents, their fates determined by the political currents of their times and countries. Rather than judging these women or deciding whether history repeats itself by chance or necessity, the film seeks to understand individual lives through history.
