In life, you barely get noticed unless you make it to the top because people are too busy to care. Like a crowd at a baseball game most of us simply remain ‘an anonymous mass’. This film begins with an extreme long shot, with human figures dwarfed by the background. It portrays the inner state of a team of baseball players and their cheer team who are late for a baseball match. The team misses the school bus and waits for a city bus to get to the baseball stadium. They end up stealing a motorcycle, but the game had already begun. The message of this film can be found through a passer-by on the street who asks the team why they play baseball. The characters in this film all have burdens in life which weigh them down, but the film depicts their lives with a cheerful tone.
