Review

This film shows a train traveling through spring and summer and portrays the faces of the most ordinary people in China. The film metaphorically shows ten years from 1997 to 2007. During the outbreak of SARS, two girls meet inside a train, both wearing masks. The sunshine on the window, the scenery passing by, and the railroad disappearing through the open door shows the remarkable mis-en-scene of the film.
