DIRECTOR
Amos GITAI 
Born in 1950, Israel. He obtained PhD in architecture at UC Berkeley. Joined the Yom Kippur war in 1973 while he was a student and started filming with 8mm camera. His films deal with the Middle East and Jewish-Arab conflict. [#i_]Kadosh[_i#](1999), [#i_]Kippur[_i#](2000) [#i_]and Kedma[_i#](2002) was nominated Golden Palm at Cannes Film Festival and [#i_]Eden[_i#](2001), [#i_]Alila[_i#](2003) and [#i_]Pomised Land[_i#](2004) was nominated Golden Lion at Venice International Film Festival.
