[Synopsis]
A stage in a theater. Two actors, Halmi and Imae encounter. “Who are you?”asking each other, but they cannot remember who themselves are, but can only remember that they ate up own memories for their hunger. Myung-jin, watching this play, is starving and Gwangtae asks him whether the dog outside is Myung-jin’s. Gwang-tae, who is also starving persuades Myung-jin to eat up the dog and they head outside.
[Director’s Statement]
Theater is a place where we meet the art of time. That’s why we only have memories when we are leaving the theatre. It is the same with our life. At the end of our life, memories are the only things that remain. A life feeding one’s memories and regret of vanishing beauty. By this short film of collaboration with play director Cho Yong-seok, I would like to tell you a story of theatre, memory and beauty.
