Review

A stone, which came from the universe long time ago, travels around. The alien stone is suffered as covered all over with black oil, caused by human’s destruction of environment like Korean Taean oil spill. Changes and dynamics of nature are described with the stone communing with leaves, birds, insects, mountain stream, purewhite snow and verycolorful grasses. Featuring vitality of nature’s slight movements antithetically to man-caused destruction of environment, such as Taean case, is more powerful than any other films about environment. This pixilation, juxtaposing actual images and colorful ones, effectively describes “Saving our planet”. (Kim Se-jin)
