1. The Extraordinary Voyage
The documentary includes interviews with contemporary filmmakers, including Costa Gavras, Michel Gondry, Michel Hazanavicius, and Jean-Pierre Jeunet on Melies´ enduring significance to cinema.

2. A Trip to the Moon
A group of men travel to the moon by being shot in a capsule from a giant cannon. They are captured by moon-men, escape, and return to the earth.

Georges Melies(1861-1938), was a French illusionist and filmmaker famous for leading many technical and narrative developments in the earliest days of cinema.

Serge Bromberg

He worked extensively in restoration and as an executive producer for television before making his first feature documentary Herri-George Clouzot's Inferno(2009). He was made a Chevalier of the French order of Arts and Letters in 2002.
