MORISAKI Azuma

Born in 1927. After graduated from the Faculty of Law at Kyoto University, he worked as an assistant director and screenwriter for Yoshitaro Nomura and Yojiro Yamada. In 2004, he premiered Chicken Is Barefoot(2004) at Berlin IFF and also received the Award for Best Artistic Contribution at the Tokyo IFF. Pecoross' Mother And Her Day s won Best director prize at the Yokohama FF.
