Review

A man, a child, two wars, a river, a tree. A man and a child meet under a tree on a river bank, sharing the same memory and a secret. They find in each other the serenity, the silence and the time they lost in the flowing water of the river.

Andre Gil MATA

Born in 1978, Portugal. Got his master degree in film direction at Lisbon Theatre and Film School. [#i_]Captivity[_i#](2012), his first feature-length documentary, was won the DocAlliance Award 2013. [#i_]How I Fell in Love with Eva Ras[_i#](2016), his first feature film, was premiered at FID Marseille where it won the Special Mention of the Jury of the International Competition, and was shown in numerous film festivals, such as Viennale, Rotterdam IFF, Jeonju IFF.
