Born in 1966, Boston. She is considered a preeminent chronicler of youth culture, gender, and consumerism. Her documentary, [#i_]The Queen of Versailles[_i#](2012), won the Best Documentary Director Award at Sundance. Her viral ad, #LikeAGirl, swept commercial awards. Her latest body of work, Generation Wealth, the accompanying exhibition opened in LA and the documentary film, [#i_]Generation Wealth[_i#], will premiere at the Sundance.
