Born in 1973. He is an artist and filmmaker based in Paris, France. His feature films The Anabasis (2011), The Ugly One (2013), Letters to Max (2014), Also Known As Jihadi (2017), and Un film dramatique (2019), have circulated widely in film festivals, including Locarno, Toronto and Rotterdam. In 2019, he was awarded the contemporary art Marcel Duchamp prize with the exhibition "Tu peux prendre ton temps."
