Teresa VILLAVERDE

Born in 1966, Portugal. She had a supporting role in Joao Cesar Monteiro´s [#i_]Hovering Over the Water[_i#](1986), has regularly worked on Portuguese film productions, for instance as editing assistant and scriptwriter. She made her debut as a director with the much-lauded [#i_]Alex[_i#](1991). Her film [#i_]The Mutants[_i#](1998) was screened in the Un Certain Regard section at the 1998 Cannes Film Festival.
