Review

This short film follows up on the success of Bertrand Mandico's debut feature, The Wild Boys (2017). Set in a seaside resort, this dark, baroque-style fantasy film can be seen as a "film about films." As the shooting for a fantasy film about the end of an era wraps up, the love affair between the director and the actress is on the verge of falling apart. Mandico continues his experiment with different narrative and formative styles. [JANG Byungwon]
