Jessica HAUSNER

Born in 1972 in Austria. Studied directing at the Filmacademy of Vienna. Her first short[#i_] Flora[_i#](1995)won the Leopard de Demain at the Locarno Festival and [#i_]Inter-view[_i#](1999)won the Prix du Jury of the Cinefondation at the Cannes Film Festival in 1999. Her first and second feature, [#i_]Lovely Rita[_i#] (2001) and [#i_]Hotel[_i#](2004)were S\\ed in Un Certain Regard at the Cannes Film Festival in 2001 and 2004.[#i_] Lourdes[_i#](2009) won the FIPRESCI Prize at the Venice Film Festival 2009.
