Directors of Korean Film Festivals hold a Press Conference to Voice Support for Democracy in Myanmar at the 22nd JEONJU IFF!

? It will be the first press conference organized by the international film community to support Myanmar protestors, expressing solidarity.

Directors of Korean film festivals join and express their support for the democratic movement in Myanmar. They will hold a press conference during the 22nd JEONJU International Film Festival (JEONJU IFF, Festival Director Lee Joondong) Friday, April 30 at 10 am. The press conference will take place in the Room 10 of CINE Q Jeonju Film Street. The film festival directors and Soe Moe Thu, one of the representatives of the Myanmar Democracy Network in Korea, will be present.

Festival Director of JEONJU IFF, Lee Joondong, and Soe Moe Thu will give a speech. All participants will read aloud a statement to express solidarity with the pro-democracy movement in Myanmar. A Q&A session will follow to discuss the significance of the meeting and their plans to support the democracy of Myanmar. Video clips of the protests and a Myanmar short film will screen at the press conference.
