The 27th JEONJU International Film Festival (JEONJU IFF, Festival Co-Directors MIN Sungwook and JUNG Junho) presents Special Screening: WITHBOM (Barrier-free) Version.
Since 2023, JEONJU IFF has operated a barrier-free film production initiative and special screenings. Building on this effort, the festival introduced Special Screening: WITHBOM (Barrier-Free) Version last year, further expanding and putting into practice the value of inclusive cinema.
“WITHBOM (Barrier-Free) version” is a content brand developed by the Korean Film Council, referring to films equipped with Korean subtitles, audio description, and sign language interpretation, enabling audiences with and without disabilities to enjoy films together. 15 films in this year’s special screening will be presented with Korean subtitles and Audio Description.
During the 27th edition of the festival, May 5 (Tue) and May 6 (Wed) will be designated as “Barrier-Free Day,” featuring screenings of WITHBOM (Barrier-Free) versions.
