Vanja KALUĐERČIĆ

Vanja Kaluđerčić was appointed Festival Director of the International Film Festival Rotterdam as of February 2020. In this role, Kaluđerčić represents the artistic voice of IFFR, one of the largest audience and industry-driven film festivals in the world, that champions great cinema and actively supports independent filmmaking talents.

BAE Jongok

She delivers extensive performance with characteristic roles and in many various genres, starring in Jealousy Is My Middle Name (2003), Love Talk (2005), Five Senses Of Eros (2009), The Most Beautiful Goodbye (2011), and many more. She was nominated for the Best Supporting Actress at the 41st Blue Dragon Film Awards for Innocence (2020).

SHEN Yang

Experienced independent film producer and curator. In 2014, she produced Diao Yinan’s Black Coal, Thin Ice, which won the Golden Bear and the Silver Bear of Best Actor at the 64th Berlin International Film Festival and was nominated for the Golden Horse Award with 8 awards. Cooperating with Diao Yinan again, she produced The Wild Goose Lake (2019) which was selected by the Main Competition of the 72nd Cannes Film Festival.

Albert SERRA

Catalan artist born in Spain. He is a director and writer, also a co-founder of the production company Andergraun Films. Serra is known for Honour of the Knights (2006), Story of My Death (2013), and The Death of Louis XIV (2016). His latest film Freedom (2019) received the Un Certain Regard - Special Jury Prize in Cannes.

LEE Hanna

Film producer based in Seoul, Korea, she has served as journalist and festival coordinator for local and international film festivals as well as working for the Korean Film Commission (KOFIC) before she shifted gears to film production. She has produced films including Hong Sangsoo’s On the Occasion of Remembering the Turning Gate (2002) and Woman Is the Future of Man (2004), and Lee Chang-dong’s Secret Sunshine (2007).

PARK Heungsik

He made his directorial debut with I Wish I Had a Wife (2001) and directed My Mother, the Mermaid (2004), Memories of the Sword (2015), Love, Lies (2016), and many more. Since he was appointed as the Chairman of Jeonju Film Commission in 2019, he has made efforts to support the film industry of the North Jeolla Province.

Kiva REARDON

Film Programmer at the Academy Museum in Los Angeles. She previously was the Lead Programmer of Contemporary World Cinema at the Toronto International Film Festival and worked at the Hot Docs Canadian International Documentary Film Festival, the International Film Festival Rotterdam, and the Doha Film Institute in Qatar. In 2013, Kiva founded cleo, an online publication dedicated to creating space for feminist voices in film criticism.

Chiara MARAÑÓN

Director of Content at MUBI, a curated subscription-based streaming service. Maranon has served as a jury member at various international film festivals including Mar del Plata or Sheffield Doc/Fest, and curated special programs for FICCI Cartagena and Tabakalera Centre for Contemporary Art in San Sebastian. As a filmmaker, she has worked with Iranian master Abbas Kiarostami on The Girl in The Lemon Factory (2013).

Laura ROHARD

Film programmer based in Quebec City. In 2014, she joined Quebec City Film Festival programming team in which she has committed herself ever since, with faith and passion, contributing to develop the professional section of QCFF including the talent lab CAMPUS. She firmly believes in arts and culture, which ought to be accessible to everyone and yet be challenging, and defends film education amongst the youngest and the need for a bold local film festival, which would be unifying for the audience at the same time.

LEE Chunghyun

Started making short films when he was still a student at an arts high school. His short film, Bargain (2015) was traveling the film festival circuit. He directed CALL (2020) on Netflix.

CHOI Sooyoung

Started her acting career in the TV series, Unstoppable Marriage (2007). She gives a brilliant performance in films including Hello, Schoolgirl (2008), Miss & Mrs. Cops (2019), TV series 38 Police Squad (2016), and Run On (2021). In 2014, she received the Best Actress in a Miniseries award at the MBC Drama Awards and the Excellence Award for Actress at the Kora Drama Awards.

KIM Mijo

She has directed five short films, including Tongue (2017) and Disgusting Family (2019). She directed the first feature film with Gull which was awarded at JEONJU IFF in 2020.

SHIN Dongmin

His feature debut Mom´s Song where his real mother played herself was awarded at JEONJU IFF and the Jeonbuk Independent Film Festival in 2020. He recently completed a short film Son´s Letter.

LEE Dahyeh

Currently working as a film journalist at Cine21. She wrote several books about films and participated in podcasts like Lee Soojung and Lee Dahyeh Criminal Film Profile and Lee Dahyeh’s CinePicks.

LEE Eunsun

Film journalist at Screen, Movie Week, and Magazine M. She hosts FM Cinema Music (MBC), Movie Stargram Interview (SKY channel) and contributes columns for Cine Play, Sisa Journal, and Monthly Project Yoon Jongshin.

CHA Hanbi

Journalist of film webzine REVERSE and editor of Media Center Mediact’s monthly journal ACT!. From 2015 to 2018, she worked as an utive director of the Association of Korean Independent Film & Video and editor for the independent magazine, Motion.

HUH Namwoong

Huh Namwoong worked as a film journalist for the online newspaper Ddanzi and the weekly magazine Film 2.0. Huh was previously the programmer at the Seoul Art Cinema. Currently, he appears on media platforms including the radio program Heo Jiwoong Show (SBS3) and Kim Taehoon’s Freeway (KBS).

YOO Sunhee

Festival director of the Beautiful Hapcheon Independent Film Festival, representative and programmer of the Cinematheque Cinephile Jeonju. She previously worked as a preliminary jury of many short film festivals, the general secretary of the Jeonbuk Independent Film Association, festival director of the Jeonbuk Independent Film Festival.

LEE Hyung-suk

Award-winning director at the film festival circuit, including the Busan International Film Festival and Jeonbuk Independent Film Festival. He also worked as a producer on films like Virgin Forest (2012), Echo of Dragon (2013), Night Song (2015), and Good Person (2020).

NAM Dongchul

He started his career at the film magazine Cinephile in 1994. After entering Cine21 in 1995, he worked as a chief editor from 2004 to 2008. Currently, he works as a manager of BIFF’s Asian Film Market since 2009 and chief programmer of BIFF since 2019.

BYUN Sungchan

Since winning a criticism award from Cine21 in 2002, Byun has written on film in a variety of media. After serving as a preliminary jury member at Indie Forum in 2008, he went on to become an utive committee member at Seoul Independent Documentary Film Festival in 2009. Currently, he teaches at Korea National University of Arts.

Pip CHODOROV

Filmmaker and songwriter since childhood. Artist, historian, distributor, and film activist, he divides his time between his native New York, his adopted home Paris, and Seoul where he teaches film theory and filmmaking at Dongguk University. He has made two-dozen experimental films and a dozen documentary portraits of filmmakers including the feature documentary Free Radicals: A History of Experimental Film (2011).
