Mark PERANSON
A programmer, writer, producer, and filmmaker from Toronto, Canada, Mark Peranson is the founder and former editor/publisher of Cinema Scope magazine (1999–2024). He was Head of Programming for Locarno from 2013 to 2018, and Head of Programming for the Berlin from 2019 to 2024. His films include Waiting for Sancho (2008) and La última película (co-directed, 2013).
SHIM Jaemyung
After founding the marketing company for films in 1992, established the film production company Myungfilms in 1995. She has invested and produced several films, including Corset (1996), The Contact (1997), The Quiet Family (1998), Happy End (1999), Joint Security Area (2000), Island (2000), Waikiki Brothers (2001), A Good Lawyer's Wife (2003), When Romance Meets Destiny (2005), Forever the Moment (2008), Leafie, a Hen Into the Wild (2011), Architecture 101 (2012), Cart (2014), The Man with High Hopes (2021), and Single in Seoul (2023).
YIM Soonrye
Born in Incheon in 1960. Majored in English Language and Literature and Film at Hanyang University, and pursued further studies in Film at Université Paris 8 in France. Her works include Three Friends (1996), Waikiki Brothers (2001), Forever the Moment (2008), Fly, Penguin (2009), Rolling Home With A Bull (2010), South Bound (2013), Whistle Blower (2014), Little Forest (2018) and The Point Men (2023).
Pascale BODET
Pascale Bodet is a French director of documentaries and fiction movies. Her interest is primarily in comedy and she seeks to achieve a certain comedic tone in each and every movie she makes. A first retrospective of all her films was organized in Argentina during Buenos Aires International Festival of Independent Cinema 2022. A partial retrospective was held at Punto di Vista in March 2023.
TSUCHIDA Tamaki
Born in 1976 in Japan. Currently a professor at Waseda University and a board member of the Japan Community Cinema Center. He serves as a editor of Sputnik, which is published by Yamagata International Documentary Film Festival, and a programmer responsible for educational programs. Alongside coordinating film productions for foreign filmmakers such as Jean-Pierre Limosin, editing books about Pedro Costa, Nicholas Ray. He works with the Yamagata International Documentary Film Festival and his programming includes retrospectives such as those dedicated to Guy Debord and Fredi Murer, as well as the special program Double Shadows.
Didi WU
Didi Wu is the Director of Broadway Cinematheque and the Festival Director of the Hong Kong Asian Film Festival. Since 2013, she has overseen film festivals, independent film distribution, and cultural events. With extensive curating experience at Taiwan International Documentary Festival and Hong Kong International Film Festival, she focuses on creating socially engaged programs that blend film with interdisciplinary media.
Stefan IVANCIC
Stefan Ivancic is the producer of the feature film The Load (Ognjen Glavonić, 2018), premiered at the Directors’ Fortnight in Cannes and Wind, Talk to Me (Stefan Djordjević, 2025), selected in the Tiger Competition of the Rotterdam. He is a member of the selection committee of the Locarno Film Festival and programs the Belgrade Auteur Film Festival.
LEE Hae-young
Lee Hae-young directed Like A Virgin (2006), Foxy Festival (2010), Believer (2018), Phantom (2023) and Nexflix Original Series Aema (2025).
KO Asung
Ko Asung, born in South Korea, began her acting career at a young age and demonstrated her versatility across genres by appearing The Host (2006), Snowpiercer (2013), Office (2015), A Resistance (2019), Samjin Company English Class (2020) and I Hate Korea (2024). She is widely recognized for her maturity, emotional precision, and distinctive presence in television shows such as I Heard through Grapevine (2015), Life on Mars (2018).
Daniel TURNER
Since joining the Institute of Contemporary Arts (ICA) in 2023, he has curated major retrospectives of filmmakers such as Hong Sangsoo, Jacques Rivette, Angela Schanelec and Theo Angelopoulos, whilst also co-leading on the ICA’s Off-Circuit programme which works as an alternative distribution model spotlighting new work that otherwise wouldn’t be screened in the UK. Alongside his programming work, he has led classes and workshops at the National Film and Television School and Richmond University.
LEE Wonsuk
Lee Wonsuk gained recognition through his short film, National Exercise, which received NDIF i Pictures Project Award at the Busan International Film Festival 2004. He directed feature films including How to Use Guys with Secret Tips (2013), The Royal Tailor (2015) and Killing Romance (2023).
PARK Inho 
A Film critic. She contributes to Critic b, published by the Busan Film Critics Association and film magazine FILO. She served as a jury of the Busan International Film Festival, Jeonbuk Independent Film Festival and Seoul International Women's Film Festival. Also she led the Guest Visit session at the Busan International Film Festival and JEONJU Internatinoal Film Festival as a Guest Visit's moderator. Her co-authored works include Lee Chang-dong: Films That Never Stop Asking Question (JEONJU International Film Festival), New Perspectives on 21st Century Documentary (Busan International Film Festival), The Artist with Class, the Voyager-Iconoclast (Busan International Film Festival) and Busan Documentary, Action of Time.
HUH Namwoong
He worked as a member of the film team at DDanzi News and as a film reporter for FILM2.0, and now works as a film critic. He appears on KBS Radio programs Our Morning with Cho Kyung-A and Newsletter K, Mokdo, Youtube channel introducting films. His books include Interpretation and Imagination by Huh Namwoong (2024), Tips that Make Movies Even More Fun When You Know Them (2015), and Brand of the Brand (co-authored, 2020), which focuses on the production strategies of the Hollywood film production company, Blumhouse.
SON Sinae
She began writing film criticism in 2016. She works for various platforms, including the film webzine REVERSE, the magazine FILO, and the criticism division of the Association of Korean Independent Film & Video. She is currently working as a programmer for the Seoul International Women's Film Festival.
Boodee KEERTHISENA
Artist and director, he studied film in New York City. His debut feature, Veils of Maya (1996), made after returning to Sri Lanka, left an impact in audiences and critics. His second feature, Buongiorno Italia (2004), introduced a postmodern style to Sri Lankan cinema and influenced many young filmmakers and actors. His other works include Matha (2012) and Alone in a Valley (2016). As a NETPAC member, he has served as a jury member at several festivals, including Bucheon International Fantastic Film Festival and International Film Festival of Kerala.
RYOO Hoon
He has continued his work through films such as Will Be Okay (2004), Let Me Die (2005), My Wife Got Married (adaptation, 2008), Secret Love (2010), and Pacemaker (adaptation, 2012). In 2006, he received the Jury Award for Best Short Film at the Lyon Asian Film Festival, and in 2015, he won excellence award in the fiction category at the JEONJU Project Market (JPM). In 2016, Curtain Call was selected to the Korean Competition section of the JEONJU International Film Festival. He served as the Festival Director of the Anyang International Youth Film Festival from 2017 to 2018, and was a professor in the Division of Theatre & Film at Sungkyul University from 2005 to February 2026.
CHOE Equan
As a film director who listens closely to the questions of contemporary audiences, and as an educator who designs new methods of filmmaking, he moves between the field and the classroom in search of a creative language.
Cecile Hyojeong SON
Cecile Hyojeong Son is a translator and screenwriter. She holds a BA in Media and Sociology from Goldsmiths, University of London, and an MA in Film Studies from King's College London. Her MA dissertation examined the presentation of slow cinema in gallery settings, with a focus on the work of Tsai Ming-Liang and Lav Diaz. Her recent translations include An Oceanic Feeling: Cinema and the Sea by Erika Balsom, originally published in 2018 and released in Korea in 2024.
Pedro SEGURA BERNAL
Mexican programmer, film critic, and distributor. Co-founder of the distribution company La Ola Cine. He is currently part of the programming teams of Ambulante and Reykjavik International Film Festival. His critical writing has been published in specialized outlets such as Cinema Scope, Film Comment. He has served as jury member at international film festivals as Mar del Plata, Dokufest and many others. In 2024, he was mentioned at Screen Daily’s Future Leaders list for programmers and curators.
Kim Byeonggyu
A film critic who entered the field in 2018 upon being named a New Film Critic by FILO magazine and receiving the Cine21 Film Criticism Award. They have authored Cinema of Empty Hands: The Place of Damaged Art.
KIM Hyeonmok
As an actor, his filmography includes feature films such as The Dude in Me (2019), Way Back Home (2020), Show Me the Ghost (2021), No Heaven, But Love (2024), and 3670 (2025). Beyond the screen, he has appeared in television dramas such as Extraordinary You (2019), Navillera (2021), Doctor Cha (2023), and The Tyrant's Chef (2025), and continues to be active on musical and theater stages. For his exceptional acting, he received the Korean Fantastic Actor Award at the 25th Bucheon International Fantastic Film Festival for Show Me the Ghost, and the Best Acting Award in the Korean Competition at the 26th JEONJU International Film Festival for 3670.
MOON Juhwa
A film critic who made their debut in 2024 by winning the Cine21 Film Criticism Award. Completed doctoral coursework in film theory and aesthetics, and engages in both critical writing and practice-based work, including research and screening curation. Curated To Those Who Are Unrelated (2025), a reinterpretation of The Widow (1955), the final work of Park Nam-ok, Korea’s first female film director. The omnibus project, which originated as an exhibition, was selected as the opening film of the Seoul Independent Film Festival in 2025. Currently serves as a programmer at the DMZ International Documentary Film Festival.
LEE Ranhee
From 1996 to 2003, worked as an actor and producer with the theatre company Theatre Company Hangang. Wrote and directed the short films Perm (2009), The Night Before the Wedding (2014), and Tent (2016), as well as the feature films Vacation (2020) and Third Year, Second Semester (2024). Received numerous awards, including the KBS Independent Film Award at the Busan International Film Festival, the Plus M Award from the Korean Film Directors Guild, the Grand Prize for Feature Film at the Seoul Independent Film Festival, the Independent Film of the Year Award from the Korean Independent Film Association, the Jury Special Prize from the Busan Film Critics Association, and the Best Director Award at the Women in Film Korea. Also appeared as an actor in Brain Surgery (2005), Daytime Drinking (2008) and The Natural Man (2023).
JEONG Yeoreum
Jeong Yeoreum is an artist who translates stories about the relationship between place and memory into moving-image media. Through an obsessive observation of narratives that emerge from a single point, the work analyzes their operating mechanisms and continues a practice of dissecting their core structures and components. Held solo exhibitions "A Century in the Distant Fog" (SeMA Bunker, Seoul, 2023) and "HAPPY TIME IS GOOD" (Hapjeong District, Seoul, 2021). Participated in group exhibitions at Doosan Gallery (Seoul, 2024), HITE Collection (Seoul, 2023), Manzi Art Space (Hanoi, 2022), Space Himm (Busan, 2022), and OCAT Shanghai (Shanghai, 2021).
CHO Hyunsuh
Director Cho Hyun-suh graduated from the Department of Film at the Korea National University of Arts. The short film Tree (2020), which he directed during university, was screened at the Short Films section of the Busan International Film Festival. Nobody’s Land(2021), his graduation film, won the Audience Award at the Ulsan International Film Festival, the Jury Award at the Pyeongchang International Peace Film Festival, the Grand Prize in the Regional Section at the Daegu Short Film Festival, the Director's Week Award and the Best Actress Award at the Chungmuro Film Festival. Winter light (2025) is the director’s feature film debut and won the Grand Prize of the Korean Competition at the JEONJU International Film Festival.
KAM Jeongwon
Kam Jeong-won is a filmmaker who explores the intersection of personal emotions and experiences with time, place, and social contexts. The trains passed by (2021) screened at major festivals, after which she founded the cooperative "Continuity" for independent distribution. Stars and Sand (2025) won the Grand Prize in the Feature Competition at the 51st Seoul Independent Film Festival.
PARK Juhwan
Made a directorial debut with the feature-length documentary Graduation (2018). Currently serves as President of the Gangwon Independent Film Association and Executive Director of the Wonju Rooftop Film Festival. Active in the field of independent cinema, with a focus on region-based film production, the development of screening environments, and film festival organization.
