Born in Busan, 1970, he graduated from Broadcasting Department in Hanyang University. After directing numerous short films such as [#i_]Dry Flower[_i#](1998), [#i_]Last Girl Sleeps[_i#](2000), and [#i_]The Angels[_i#](2002), he produced [#i_]Reversal of Fortune[_i#](2003). Moreover, he is an author of The Discreet Charm of Modern Cinema and Cinematic Moment. He is serving as professor at Broadcasting Department of Erica Campus, Hanyang University right now.
