Review

The era of the film is set in Joseon Dynasty. Nam-sun, a detective, runs into “Sad Eyes”, the assassin, while chasing after counterfeit currency. Nam-sun and “Sad Eyes” are up for a duel they cannot run from. The course of their emotions is depicted through ravishing cinematography. This is a sad yet beautiful tale about the inevitable.
