Jean-Francois Laguionie

Jean-Francois Laguionie (born 1939) is best known for his now classic short film The Maid and the Cellist(1965), which won the Grand Prix at Annecy in 1965. Jean-Francois Laguionie then directed several short films, climaxing with the now famous Rowing across the Atlantic (1978), which won the Cesar Award for best short animated film in 1979.
