Review

Two French gentlemen start arguing in front of Rene Magritte´s This is not a pipe. The director takes a famous painting by a surrealist artist and utilizes his unique interpretation and satire, and merrymaking to portray especially the snobbish sophistry of gentlemen.

Born in 1980. Park Jae-ok studied the animation directing at Korean Academy of Film Arts. His thesis film, Stop, won 3rd prize of Cinefondation section at the 61th Cannes and his second film What Is Not Romance? , won grand prize at Seoul International Cartoon & Animation Festival. Two Gentlemen is his third film.
